Prayer request for my father's upcoming eye surgery

Post by Eva »

I would like to request prayers for my 95-year-old father who is having a cataract surgery in a couple of days (Tuesday early morning in Australia, Monday in the US). Please pray that he feels at peace, that all goes well, and that there are no complications.

Thank you very much.
Love,
Eva

Dearest Eva,
your father is amazing....I'm sure he will sail through this surgery...he is so fit . I would like to add his name to our Blessings Bowl...sorry can you tell me his name again - I've forgotten.

We will pray for him at our Online Circle of Light tomorrow ; our Sunday evening prayer circle and our Monday night Circle of Light....thank you for letting us know.

God Bless you. Love and hugs, Jeanne

Dear Eva,
I trust you are well and basking in the Father’s Love.
Your father will be in my prayers and I’m sure that all will be well. Also, I want to thank you for your article: ‘Basking in the Father’s Love’, which I very much enjoyed and also for the link to Brother Lawrence’s ‘Practising the Presence of God’; so very inspiring and how we all need to live in order to bring the Love of God to the world.
Bless you and your father, and hubby too. And any pets you might have!
Love, Kevin

Thank you everyone for your prayers. My dad’s surgery this morning went well. We brought him home to his place and he rested quite a bit after all the anaesthetic, etc.

This afternoon, we took him back for his post-op check and it is all looking good. He can see a difference already and is quite excited. The next two weeks is important to take it easy for a successful healing. With the anaesthetic drugs having worn off, he is feeling much better. Everything has gone really well — we could definitely feel the effects of the prayers.
So thank you again.

Love,
Eva
