UPDATE: Prayers for Suzie's mother, Marlene, and family

Dear friends,

Please pray for Suzie's mother, Marlene, as she has just shared with the family that she has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. This comes as another devastating shock to a family that just lost a young husband/father/son-in-law so suddenly last June. An otherwise strong family is suddenly emotionally reeling, and they can use all the support that they can get.

You all are not only our friends but also our spiritual community. We thank you for your continued love, support, and especially your prayers.

I will post any updates when I can.

I can imagine how devastating this news is for Suzie and her family. I will place Marlene in my prayers and Suzie and her family as well.

I'm so very sorry to hear this.. This must indeed be a terrible blow for all of you..

Hello my friends,

After a couple of second (or third) opinions, the physicians dialed back their original diagnosis of Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Although this is very good news, Marlene still has pancreatic cancer, and yet, she has a different kind of cancer on her lungs.

Today Marlene underwent surgery to remove the tip of her pancreas and her spleen. Prayers have been answered, but I ask you to please continue to keep Marlene in your prayers for continued healing, especially for the lungs.

Below is a photo of Suzie's mother, Marlene. What a wonderful soul, eh??
