The retreat begins on Wednesday Sept. 10 (check-in at 3pm) with a ‘meet-and-greet,’ prayer circle, and dinner. We will have twice daily silent prayer circles, two presentations on the life and work of James Padgett, many opportunities for small-group discussions, and evening entertainment. The retreat will end after Breakfast and Prayer Circle on Sunday Sept 14, 2014 (check-out is at 11am).

There are two types of rooms available: rooms with two double beds, and rooms with two sets of bunks. If you register after May 1st, 4HCC may assign you with a room with bunk beds as they cannot guarantee the rooms with two double beds after May 1st. (There are a limited number of rooms with two double beds and there are many rooms with two sets of bunk beds.)

If registering for more than one person, please fill out an individual reservation form for each person who is sharing a room with you.

Please include full payment for yourself and for any guests sharing your room with this completed form.

Total cost of retreat includes room for four nights, all meals and snacks, common meeting room. Cost varies according to whether or not you share a room.

The 4H Conference Center (4HCC) is located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD. (Phone: 1-800-368-7432). Reagan National Airport is the closest major airport. Take the Metro (subway) from Reagan National Airport on the Yellow Line to “Gallery Place” and change to the Red line on the same platform to the “Friendship Heights” stop. More detailed transportation information will be mailed to registrants.

The 4HCC does not allow guests to bring their own food onto the premises. No smoking allowed; alcohol is strictly prohibited on premises.

Yeah! I can't believe it's time to register already. I know 2014 is going to go by so fast, anxiously awaiting this wonderful celebration!

One quick question, is there an option for those who may not be staying on the 4H property, but who do want to participate in meals and all the other events?

Looking forward to September 2014 and this wonderful celebration of the Padgett Messages Anniversary!

Yes, thank you for asking the question! For those who stay elsewhere, they need only let us know. I will put together the registration fee for that option, where the person or people come for meals to the 4HCC. Then I'll post it.
