Prayer for 2017 Divine Love Retreats

With the 2017 retreats being only 2-3 months away and fast approaching, here is a prayer to make both Namibia and Indio wonderful experiences of fellowship and spiritual growth.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for another opportunity to meet together in various places around the world and to draw closer to You and each other through prayer for Your Divine Love, to become reacquainted and build deeper bonds with dear friends, and to form new friendships.

I ask that You guide who will end up coming to each retreat. May any disruptive spirits be kept away, as well as those who cannot get on with others in harmony. On the other hand, may those who can make a positive contribution but may have challenges to overcome be enabled to attend.

I pray that all those coming from afar to the retreat sites will have pleasant and safe flights and smooth airport processing. May they also quickly adapt to the conditions they will encounter. This applies especially to those going to Namibia who will experience a culture shock. May we also all stay well and healthy – with not even a cold or cough. May we enjoy nice weather which does make a difference.

At each retreat site, brothers and sisters in the Divine Love from different countries and backgrounds and with different personalities will be spending a lot of time together. As a result they will see each other’s good points as well as shortcomings. Some will experience jet lag and may feel tired at the wrong time, which can lead to saying the wrong things. May we all interact in love, mutual respect and harmony, so that there will be no unpleasantness, misunderstandings, or hurt feelings among any of us that would mar our relationships, but rather may our friendships deepen and blossom as we grow in understanding of each other and ourselves.

May we be in tune with and follow the spiritual desires of our souls and keep in check our egos and the desires for power and influence that may emerge from the worldly desires of our minds. May we consider how what we say and do affects others and not do anything that will cause others to be hurt. May we practice unconditional love to all present in loving as Jesus loved – with the Divine Love. May we accept those whom we don’t feel close to or who see things differently from us.

May we have compassion on those who are working through various issues because each and every one of us has some issues to work through (some more obvious than others) and we all need compassion from our Father, the angels and each other.

I pray that the time together at each retreat will be spiritually enriching and rejuvenating as we spend time together in prayer, sharing, and learning new things. May there be no disharmony and disrespect, and if misunderstandings do occur, may they be quickly resolved in amicable ways with any bad feelings that may have arisen totally dissipating. May we all come back home renewed, more filled with your Divine Love, and ready to serve You and others till the next retreat.

May we all be in tune with the high energy nudges of the angels, and in all things honor You by following the way of love and kindness. May we chose to be kind over insisting on being right, because in most cases, love and kindness are more important. May our souls (spiritual minds) be in ascendancy over our physical minds and unloving human tendencies – in fact, may those tendencies be totally absorbed by the Divine Love. May Your Love continue to increase in our souls, transforming us into new creatures acting more and more like You would have us act – the way of Love and Light by which we also influence those around us and little by little help to transform the turbulent world we live in.

Thank you for your beautiful prayer, Eva! Let's say it everyday!! Here in Gibsons, when we are preparing for our prayer circles and retreats we pray, as a group, for each participant, by name! We have found this practice has greatly enhanced building personal relationships with people we haven't even met! This is something the angels guided us to do and it's been a wonderful practice in our group prayers since planning our first Gibsons retreat in 2012! Again, many thanks!
