Dear Friends,

Al and I are overjoyed to announce that a new collection of messages will be posted on this website today or tomorrow!

Entitled Messages of Love –Vancouver, British Columbia – 1958 to 1970, this collection of 175 messages was received in Divine Love Prayer Circles hosted by Alec Gaunt in the 60's!

When Alec passed away in 1970, Al and I inherited boxes of his old writings, manuscripts that were both hand written and mimeographed using the best technology of the day - recorded on a reel to reel recorder and transcribed with a manual typewriter! The papers were fading, tattered and splotched with ink spots! When we met Helge Mercker in July 2012 we retrieved the boxes from a closet and she immediately recognized that a Treasure Trove they contained. Helge felt called to re-type them all which took her 2 or 3 years to complete!

Later the torch was passed to Alec's daughter-in-law, Darlene Gaunt, another disciplined and dedicated soul sister on the Divine Path! Darlene has spent the past 2 years editing, formatting and researching the identities of the spirits which are listed, with pictures or images in an appendix.

To enhance the appendix, Dennis Tormey generously created a collage of the spirit images.

Not all messages were dated, but those with dates have been organized in chronological order. For anonymity, none of the messages reveal the medium’s name and most of the personal references have been deleted.

During the last two years of Alec's life he was completely dedicated to God's Service, and in particular, to the development of Direct Voice or the physical manifestation of Celestial spirits.

This legacy from Alec is beyond profound to Al and I...next to the Volumes channeled through James Padgett, these messages are so relevant to the calling we are dedicated to ourselves at this time of our lives.

I hope this dedication to Alec, which was really crafted by Darlene Gaunt, will excite and inspire you too -- with it's story about what a difference one man can make in the world! So happy to share these wonderous messages with the world....it's hard to believe that half a century has passed since Alec's untimely transition to the spirit world!

Introduction to the Collection / Dedication:

We thank our brother in Christ, Alec Gaunt, who dedicated his life to disseminating the truth of God’s Divine Love, forging a path of Love and Light for others to follow. In the early 1950s, Alec discovered the great truth of God’s Divine Love through the automatic writings of James E. Padgett in messages that were received from 1914 to 1923 from Jesus and Celestial Angels. Jesus’ restates his core message, a message almost lost when the gospels were rewritten, that God’s Divine Love, His very essence, is available to each and every one of us by our sincere asking for it through our soul’s longings and that God is soul and is truly a personal and loving Father who loves each of us and yearns to be in at-onement with us and awaits our earnest prayers to convey His Love into our souls through the instrument of His Holy Spirit. Further, that there is no end to progression and God’s Divine Love is a gift that we will never lose once it is received into our souls and we may obtain it in increasing abundance throughout
all eternity transforming our mortal soul into that of a divine angel.

These messages so inspired Alec that he organized many groups with the purpose ofpraying for God’s Divine Love to seek at-onement with God.
Alec also had an avid interest in the belief of spiritualism and included the development of the spiritual gifts of God such as healing and trans-mediumship with group prayer for God’s Divine Love.

During the 1950s until his passing in 1970, Alec and his wife Phyllis, held weekly and bi-weekly prayer circles for meditation and soul development. Often, the conditions of these prayer circles were of such a high and holy nature that through theinstrumentality of a few gifted mediums many extraordinary messages of Love and Truth were received from Jesus of Nazareth, Celestial Angels including spiritually evolved
spirits, some who were once famous when on Earth and, amazingly from extra-terrestrial beings from another galaxy!

Fortunately, a reel-to-reel tape player was used to record the messages that came through in these prayer circles. The following is a collection of some of these messages - a true gift for all seekers of Truth.

Dear Geoff and Joseph,

thank you for your questions:

1. Geoff, there are 290 pages (8.5 x 11). What we are posting is the complete collection of all the messages we were able to "rescue" from the boxes. On our 2 month road trip through the U.S. Western states last year, i read through all the messages while Al was driving and together we did a first edit. We found duplicates, some fragmented sentences, very unclear paragraphs that just made no sense to us which we deleted, but otherwise, we did not select specific messages. Our goal was to preserve Alec's legacy to the fullest extent. While many messages in the collection were specific to his Direct Voice development group, the boxes contained many messages that must have been channeled in his other groups and although every message encouraged the readers to pray for Divine Love, they were not all specifically relevant to the development of Direct Voice.

We think the next step is to review Alec's legacy in greater depth and indeed, select those messages specific to Direct Voice ....we would like to include some of them in a book specific to Direct Voice. For example, there was a great message from the Apostle James entitled "School for Mediums" (undated - assumed 1969), that is resonant with our current guidance. I will post James' message next - under a new topic).

2. Joseph, Al is currently writing a book on mediumship (as he sits beside me )....he received guidance from Augustine a few weeks ago to write a document about Divine Love Mediumship and the Laws of Communication and Rapport, soul progression in Divine Love, etc., that are required to be a Divine Love medium. Augustine also told us that it is part of God's Plan to develop Divine Love Mediums around the world! Al's written about 75 pages so far and is determined to have a document prepared in time to bring copies with us to Phoenix - to the After Life Education and Research Institute Annual Meeting and Phoenix Divine Love Retreat where he will be making a presentation on Direct Voice. Darlene is helping him with the formatting and together we want to gather up messages specific to Direct Voice / Divine Love Mediumship for an appendix. Geoff has already given Al permission to copy a whole section from his website to this effort - for which Al is very grateful as Geoff has done such a fabulous job already! Please pray for us to accomplish this task and we promise to bring you an autographed copy


Allan was planning to post the final copy of the Collection today, but has had to take Vicky to Emergency for her heart condition...please keep Vicky in your prayers. What is Direct Voice

Many of the messages contained in this book are referring to something called Direct Voice. It was the intention of a specific group put together by Alec Gaunt to bring about material mediumship. Material mediumship has been demonstrated and proven to exist since the late 1800’s among spiritualist circles. Its sole purpose was to prove the continuance of life after death. As such, there was no need to bring through evolved spirits, but rather those who were of a lower, more earthbound plane since they are more readily accessed by the laws of communication and rapport.This proved to be a successful and surprisingly common occurrence at that time and there have been some very dedicated mediums such as Leslie Flint who demonstrated the gift of materialization to the public. His reputation until his death in the 1980’s made him well known in spiritualist circles. No doubt Alec was inspired by his work but his goal was somewhat different. He wanted to bring the words of high teachers from the Celestial realms and the heavenly natural love spheres to people without the problems associated with utilizing the brain of the medium for communication. Bypassing the mechanics which invariably colour a message received through the brain of a medium, Alec felt that there would be a ramping up of the quality and content of what was intended to be conveyed by the Celestial spirits whose goal was to instruct mortals on how to get into the Celestial kingdom. By receiving the blessing of the Divine Love, the opportunity to enter into these highest of spheres is possible.
By using a substance called ectoplasm which we all posses to some degree, spirit is able to form a voice box which can be manipulated by them and thereby speak to the material world. This mechanism is called direct voice in spiritualism. To accomplish this in such a way that higher spirits are able to communicate was a daunting task. Nothing like this was ever attempted and much of the instruction for attaining direct voice in this way is shared in these messages. Divine Love is stressed as the catalyst to make this gift a reality. Unfortunately Alec passed into spirit before he was able to bring this forward but his legacy is in the messages contained in this prolific volume . Many spirits have contributed their knowledge and energy to assist in this venture of obtaining Direct Voice. The journey that you are about to read about is both fascinating and spiritually instructive. It took many years for these recorded messages to be released to the public. Many thanks to the sitters, mediums, compilers and editors for their dedication to this task. May God bless each one on their journey of soul awakening and service in Love. ……………Al Fike

Dear Jeanne,

Regarding reading that on its own it suggests that Direct Voice of the type we aspire to is based ectoplasm. I don't believe that is correct. Because you can't do ectoplasmic work IN THE LIGHT.

So, maybe that is covered later, but its misleading as it stands. IMHO.

Aah sadly it cant be downloaded or otherwise read off line. If you have a mind to "spread" the word you really do have to offer pdfs, because people send them to friends. That one page at a time presentation is all very well......but

I see its supposed to offer a pdf download, but that is set to the DL newsletter March 2015, not this file. That probably means Allan has copied this page from the first time he created a page with this flip page widget, and has forgotten to change the download option.

when using Google Chrome, you can push the print button underneath the web document, then choose "print all pages". When the print tab appears, choose not your printer, but change the target to "save as pdf".
