Here's another story just published:

https://wakeupcallforthesoul.com/2018/1 ... position/

I don't expect people to like this one very much, but it remains true to the purpose of Wake-Up Call for the Soul.

I shared this one with my adult Sunday school class recently, and they avoided talking about it which makes me think I need to publish it even if I am challenged by it myself.

Hey Bill,
I think it's a great story! I'm surprised your adult Sunday school class didn't respond....maybe because all the festivities around Christmas were distracting? Kudos to you! I'm impressed how you keep churning out new stories!

See you soon this morning in our online circle of light! God Bless, always, Jeanne :P

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Cate! :)

I had someone tell me that they were uncomfortable with how "desperate" God was in the "story." It didn't "ring true" to her. My sense is that there is no way to communicate in human language God's desire for us. We have no appreciation for the depths of our Heavenly Parent's deep and persistent yearning for us to participate in God's Being of Divine Love.

The way I thought about it after I received that feedback is that God has no "Plan B" when it comes to all of God's soul children. God created us by, for, and to love. I do not believe that God has a whole other universe with other kinds of beings (that are not made in God's image in the same way we are) to love. It's not like the cosmos is a cold and heartless experiment where, if it doesn't work, God will just throw away this bad batch and start over again. God wants all of us, every single perfectly created soul (no matter how covered in spiritual filth), to receive Divine Love. God is going to continue to do everything possible to help us achieve at-one-ment while honoring our free will or what might be better called our "free won't."

Love,

Bill
