News from the DLSF Board - April 21, 2013

Dear Friends,

At today's Divine Love Sanctuary Board Meeting we reviewed a staged new website that Dennis is helping us with from sunny California! The wonders of the internet....bringing us altogether. We are probably 2 or 3 weeks away from launching the new site. The plan is to move THIS FORUM into the new website. We hope you will find it inviting, elegant and simple. Dennis has written a short biography of James Padgett; Helge has produced a slide show of the Namibia project; we have posted 2 short articles by Dr. Tim O'Higgins of the World Healing Crusade (Tim lives in Limerick, Ireland) as well as an article Al wrote for their same newsletter; there is a world clock that simultaneously displays the time zones that (hopefully) most of us live in; there will be a group picture of the board and contemporary messages received from Celestial guides and teachers.

As we worked through the agenda items we were blessed with guidance from our spirit guides who keep emphasizing that the upcoming Divine Love Retreat In Manchester is important and that as many of us divine love followers who can attend the event are encouraged to do so! Tim's board is meeting tomorrow night in Blackpool, England so we hope to post further details in the coming week as to the confirmed dates and location.

Thank you to everyone who has generously given their prayers and their financial resources to Childrens' Sanctuary Namibia! In just a few short weeks we have received almost $2,000 for this spring campaign - which will be matched by one of our generous donors!

Developing the website inspired valuable discussion by the board! We hope to capture the key messages of our shared values and beliefs very soon!

Please think about the gathering in Manchester.....coming at the end of September / early October....we hope you will be able to join us there.

I'll just add my two cents worth here. Our board has as a group prayed many times together and that has been a wonderful part of our lives. Now we are putting our love in action by forming this fellowship of Divine Love followers who are venturing out and being open to guidance as to how to express God's Love in the world. This is a very exciting and energizing time for us as we explore the possibilities and the extremeties of what we are willing to give and in what fashion we wish to act and be in the world as a group. Each individual brings their perspectives, their gifts and their limitations. As we continue to meet, the limitations are fading and the gifts are more evident. We are experiencing a resonance and kinship stronger than in the past and we recognize that we have been guided together to forge a strong bond that will be able to do the work that God guides us to do. With gratitude we accept this calling and are well on our way to making things happen through this collective and guided effort. Anyone who wishes to join us in this venture please sign up. And those of you who want to encourage and support us can do so with your prayers and your financial resources.Wish us luck as we make these efforts to bring God's Love into the wider world and try to knit together all of you commited to Divine Love from around the world. This task is very great and although we are few, we are certainly dedicated and with God and His angels at our side, expect miracles to happen. God bless for now.....Al
