Dedicated to Reverend Percy D. Hayes
July 29, 1931 - October 11, 2017
Our fifth AGM is dedicated to our dear friend, Percy Hayes who passed into Spirit October 11, 2017.
Percy was a seeker of truth all his life; this search eventually led him, in 1972, to discover the volumes of the True Gospel received Anew by Jesus that contained messages from Celestial Angels received through automatic writing by James E. Padgett. Percy had found the truth he was seeking… The Truth of God’s Divine Love. He dedicated himself to the pursuit of receiving Divine Love for the rest of his life… And for bringing this truth to the world.
Percy became an ordained minister in 1972 and touched thousands of lives through his teachings on radio, Community TV, at the First United Spiritualist Church and as Santa Claus… Just to name a few of his incredible out reach efforts. His beloved wife and soulmate Phyllis was always by his side until her untimely death. Many divine love followers we know today were led to the truth of divine love by Percy.
In his “retirement” years Percy volunteered with Jeanne and Al at Burnaby Family Life...Introducing hundreds of immigrant and refugee children to Christmas parties and Canadian traditions celebrating Christmas in Canada.
Percy was our dear friend and brother… His beloved daughters Darlene Gaunt, Dorothy Clauson and his grandchildren continue to keep his Spiritual flame alive!
We know Percy still plays a key role with us now….from his spiritual home, continuing to work with a Celestial band of angels at the First United Spiritualist Church in Burnaby where he was well known and loved.
We give thanks for all the blessings Percy brought to us...we miss his warm physical hugs and bright smiles but we appreciate his beautiful, awesome and loving spiritual presence all the more!
