An experience this morning ...

Dear friends,

Early this morning I woke with a start ... I glanced at the clock near my side of the bed. It read 5:03A. Hmm, that's late for me. I'm usually up between 3 and 4A.

Then it hit me ... something is different! Did I die during the night?

Well, I got up and wrote what I experienced. A few moments ago I added it to my blog. Those of you that are not on Facebook, I posted the link there, but I'll post it here too (that is if you want to read the rest of the story). Click on the following link (below):

That's exciting Joseph, thanks for sharing your experience. I bet your soul was feeling right at home. I wonder sometimes if we often visit other places during our sleep state but are most often unaware that we have. I will do as you did and ask God if I to can visit a beautiful spiritual place while asleep.

Dear Joseph,

I loved reading about your experience. It reminded me of how Helen and Mary used to come and escort James and Leslie over to their homes in the spirit world while the men slept. And sometimes they had to remind them that this happened because according to the men they didn't always remember the experience. (Paraphrased) What was beautiful in your case is that you initiated the visitation by asking in prayer for it, and that prayer was answered. Thankfully, you started writing down what part of this experience that you could remember in your journal so that it won't fade away like a dream.

What if you were going to see your relatives on the other side! Hope you don't want to leave here soon because of what you saw was so refreshingly beautiful and peaceful over there. Remember, you said your body felt heavier once you returned to it. (Paraphrased). Hope you stick around longer because you are loved, needed and appreciated on this side too.

Hi Dave and Marga,

Well, I never thought something like this might happen to me, but it did. Various messages do indicate that most if not all of us do visit realms of the spirit world during sleep time. We just don't recall. Yes, Marga, it certainly is clearly in the Padgett Messages regarding James Padgett and Dr. Stone and their experiences.

Why don't we recall these experiences?

Dear Joseph,

Did go to your site and read your additional entries and what struck me was this:

"The voice within again spoke and said, “You do know the answer. I come only to remind you. Go to God in prayer, Joseph, enter into your closet of prayer. Wait upon God, Joseph, wait upon the Father. Wait, seek, ask and knock. This has been your way in the past whenever you have experienced doubt."

What you wrote in the third installment touched my heart. Why? When I returned from the 100th Anniversary Retreat, I too felt a similar desire to "Go to God in prayer... and wait upon God!" Normally, I would add fasting to that -- but I didn't, just wanted to seek His face and try to get answers.

Moreover, there was a definite sadness inside of me too because I didn't think I could go on as before. Nevertheless, I realized that I could not move forward without a word from our heavenly Father. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us.

Thank you Marga and Terry for your comments. We each are unique individuals and it must follow that our experiences are and will continue to be the expression of that individuality. The remarkable thing is that as we grow in our experiences of the Divine Love we also grow to honor and respect each other's individuality. How need is that! I love it.
