sending PMs

Here's just a technical question, of which I don't know whether this is the right spot to ask.

Anyway:
I seem to be having problems with sending private messages. It worked before, but now my replies just stay in the outbox and don't go out. Could anyone advise??

Dear Arie,

Thats what they are supposed to do. The problem is the person you have PMed has not "picked it up". There is a setting in the profile to pop up a "warning" box when someone has a new pm, but I find many people turn that setting off. And they simply just don't notice they have a new pm. The board also sends an email, but……
