Hello everyone,
I had run across the text of this obit for James Padgett, but not the actual newspaper clipping... until now.
ALSO, the Court Adjourned out of Respect for the Memory of Attorney James Padgett, which was not done very often. Henry E. Davis was Albert G. Riddle's son-in-law and law partner to Padgett. James was highly respected among the local members of the bar in Washington D.C.
I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that the Court was honoring Mr. Padgett on one day, and the very next day James is writing a message from spirit to his friend, Eugene Morgan
Enjoy!
