Prayer request for Christel

Dear Friends,

We have a prayer request for a dear 86-year-old friend by the name of Christel, living near Toronto (in Peterborough). She lost her husband of almost 60 years a year ago for whom she cared for several years before he passed away. She has had a difficult year in other ways as well, including four eye operations, one or more of which didn't go well, so she can't read or drive. She also suffers from hallucinations seeing people that are not there -- for which she has medication, but sometimes forgets to take it.

The urgent need is for her to get into a retirement home as she is no longer able to live by herself, since her reactions are too unpredictable. Please pray that something suitable will become available for her so that she can be taken care of during her remaining time on earth.

Dear Eva, I am including Christel in my prayers. I know it can be difficult to find a good place for the elderly to live out their remaining years. But its the people that make the difference, I believe that where ever she goes God will insure that the right people are there to take care of her and give her comfort and friendship.
