Al's poem to Jeanne

Post by AlFike »

To my Dearest Jeanne

She does not tolerate soft muted places,
where flowers grow in subtle harmony.
She is a flower of a different quality,
her colour a rainbow’s mantle.
She is at once seen, and never passed by.

She is the light that sparkles
and sings with laughter and praise.
For all who are on her path,
she touches them with love that is the wind
that ripples the still waters and stirs the children from their slumber.

Life is her bell toll, peeling in the dark corners
drawing those who suffer the bitter cold of unfeeling,
untold cruelties.
She is the anchor, she is the guide.
A Joan of Ark, willing to grab hold of the blind
and lead them in a joyous dance.

She is my wife, my lover.
And with all these things, she is my saving grace.
She has taught me many steps in the dance of life.
She has pulled me from my still deep waters,
and shown me the magic of light air.

For the gift of her, I shall be ever grateful,
and for all that she is I am made more whole.
By loving her, I am in love with life.
By knowing her, I know the gift of rainbow flowers.
Together we are the still deep waters, the light air,
the garden in bold colours and the song that praises
God for creating the world.
Merry Christmas!
Love Al
Endless journey,endless Love.

Well Geoff, it was meant to go into my post as a response to Joseph in Dennis's progression meter thread. Don't know how it landed up here but glad you like it. Merry Christmas to you Santa ;) . God bless.......Al

Yes it went there as well, I noticed that, not quite the same on both though. The board has just been upgraded. But this occurred before that!!

Room in a house for homeless vets, 6 bdrms, 12 guys. Lots of support from Vets services here in Santa Cruz for housing, jobs, continuing education, etc. Just got security software from my niece's husband on my laptop, so i'm comfortable using my own laptop on wi-fi. i was limited in my internet access for about 45 days.
much love to all,

Dave, I'm glad to hear you have a roof over your head but I must say this does not sound ideal. I hope the angels are close and that you are feeling at peace. I'm sure this experience has some opportunities for soul growth and to be used as a channel of God's Love to others. Life certainly has it's different twists and turns. I hope you are making the best of it. God bless and you are in my prayers. Your brother and friend.......Al

Hi Dave,
Thank you for sharing your circumstances with us.....it helps us how to pray. You will be in my thoughts and prays each day and we'll put your name in our blessings bowl. I hope that you, (like our son Eric who has Divine Love in his soul), will be able to help others who are also in tough circumstances, as they will, on a soul to soul level, feel the love in your soul. May angels who are constantly at your side, stir the longings of others around you. Bless you, dear brother. I know you have much to offer and that you are strong in your longings for Divine Love....that is the most important, most valuable thing in all the world! Bless you. Love Jeanne
Stay centered in Divine Love and expect miracles to happen!

Well folks i must say first that i appreciate your concern and loving support.

It has actually been a wonderful adventure, although not what some would, or could frame as ideal.
Where ever i go i am at home in my True Self, which is my home in the At-Onement with my Creator and His/Her Divine Love. I am provided for always as far as my needs. It teaches me to know the difference between my needs and my wants. i know that many that i have worked with over the years that have found themselves in similar circumstances have spent much time judging themselves according to the learned programings of the material world mind sets about what it is to be a human being and what constitutes being a success, or "good". i have spent the last 30 yrs slowly relinquishing my "attachments" to the material world. i am in the "world", not of it. i have no fear of anything. i am indeed at peace almost all of the time. i stay very close to Our Creator through frequent communion of longings.

with much love to all, your brother in the Christ Spirit,
dave k.
