Thank you Al, Jeanne and Helge for sharing the touching story of Ben. It too brought tears to my eyes as well as joy that he is now in a much better place. What an amazing soul must have been in him here on earth that he was able to respond with love when surrounded by hate, harassment and hardship. His soul must have been highly transformed by the Divine Love and that may well have been while he was so attracted to Al and Jeanne -- like attracting like.
My prayers are for Ben, the remaining children at the camp, but perhaps even more for the rest of us to be able to rise above the by comparison petty challenges and inconveniences of our lives and consistently respond with love.
