A prayer to remove doubt

So many of us battle with our fears and our doubts regarding our faith in God and His Love. I wish to contribute this prayer as a way of helping myself and maybe others when that shadow covers our true soul longings. Here it is:



My dear Heavenly Father, You are always with me in my prayers and in my life.
But I am often oblivious to your presence and at times doubt my own soul's awareness of your Hand upon me,
Father, in those times bring me to a place of deeper knowing and soulful rapport with your Great Soul

So often I allow the distractions of this world to pull me from your Grace,
So often I allow my minds reasoning to negate that knowing within my soul.
And so often I am lost in my own painful error which overshadows the joy and truth welling up from that place of true being.

Father, may you draw me close to you and enfold me with all of your Love and healing when I feel so far away.
Renew my understanding of Your constant care and transport me to that place of deep and profound embrace.
That place beyond words or thoughts where a different kind of knowing consumes me and I am filled with your Love.

I want to be claimed by you in all ways so that I may truly walk this earth as your child .
I want the Divine essence which you have placed within me to be my rock and strength which will conquer the war which rages within my mind denying my soul's worth.
So often I doubt your presence and turn away to places and thoughts unworthy of a child of God.
This world at times plows me under into that infertile field of human thought where souls lay dormant and minds find comfort.

My true desire is to know my soul in ways which bring me to atonement with you.
That there be the harmony and peace which comes from a life lived in the flow of your Love.
Help me to grow in faith and understanding.
Help me to release my fears and doubts.
Help me to walk your Divine Path with such surety so that no obstacle or barrier will hinder my soul's progress.
Hold me in that place of warmth and peace.
Show me the wonders of your Creation.
Fill me with the Living Waters of your Love.
Take me to those pastures rich and vibrant with life
So that you may soothe my wrestles mind and ignite my soul to life.

I know that you await my yearning and reaching for light,
Ever eager to lift me up.
May this always be, never to fade or swallowed up by my doubt.
You are my loving Father, Teacher and Redeemer.
Knowing this , my doubts will never pull me away from you for very long,
My mind's choice to follow its harsh path will fade in time,
And you will always in your patience and mercy await my call.

Thank you Father for all that you give despite my fickle heart.
You know that in some future time I will walk with you in ways that will reflect the treasures You have laid up within my soul,
In time you and I will share that perfect rapport which the angels tell us is waiting for the truly faithful.
My prayer is that your redeeming Love dissolve all that stands in our way,
That I may be your beloved son, home again from that blessed journey which you have set me upon.
I long for that embrace, fulfilling your desire to greet me so ,
lost in the radiant light of your being,
Joyous in our homecoming,
Completing the dance of life changed and eternal in our embrace.
My doubt turned into Faith, my fears to laughter, my true soul longings sated in this homecoming.
Our love for one another a glorious light in your heavens.
This day will come , my soul eager and sure.
Thank you Father for this promise.
I will take this journey home and savor those things you place upon my path.

My love for you grows with every step.
I am coming closer.
You are always there.
Why do I doubt?
What am I afraid of when Your presence is so near.
Thank you Father, Your Love makes it all so clear.
I love you dear God.
You are truly my saving Grace.
Amen
